Minima Moralia – Respect, the second edition read all
November 09th, 2012
Present for the second time this year at a top class industry event in Asia, Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea proudly exhibits three of its premium brands, with collections of wines awarded all over the world: Minima Moralia, Principesa Margareta and Blue Train.
A special presence is Tamaioasa Roza, a grape variety for dessert wines. This is a century old unique-in-the-world grape that was once cultivated in Southern France, where it was called Muscat Rouge de Frontignan.
The exquisite range of Minima Moralia displays six special blend wines, oaked and matured — Honor, Respect, Devotion, Hope, Gratitude and Honesty, a range for high-end HoReCa in Romania and for export.
As the official supplier of the Royal House of Romania, Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea launched the collection called Principesa Margareta, dedicated to HRH Princess Margareta, the elder daughter of king Mihai I. The destination of this super premium wine is the high-end HoReCa in Romania and for export.
The Blue Train wine range was created for the international market, and the name is reminiscent of both the country’s and the estate’s history. The Blue Train range of red, rose and white wines gives a glimpse of the rich texture of that life where passion, friendship, guilt combine into a melting pot of palate stories and palatal enjoyment.

Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea — a historical estate, founded by the King Carol I in 1884 — is the most awarded Romanian winery, with a vineyard that spreads over a blessed terroir of 300 ha, with mild sun and harsh soil. Located in the South of Romania, on the same parallel of latitude as Bordeaux and Piemonte, the Segarcea vineyard grows black, white and aromatic grape varieties entirely replanted with vines in 2005. On a 100 years old plot still grow about 2.000 plants from the famous Tămăioasă Roză, that the French used to name Muscat Rouge de Frontignan.
